The creations of Chaumet jewelry watchmakers are getting a makeover

The iconic watches of the Maison Chaumet – Boléro, Hortensia Éden and Dandy – are available in new models this spring. At this time when the disrupted course of current affairs is almost all that is on anybody’s minds, it is a pleasure for us to sometimes be able to speak about something else, and to introduce you to new creations.

Boléro, Hortensia Éden and Dandy each claim to be a guarantee of the “uniqueness of a personality, a state of mind or a vision of elegance”.  Whilst the elegance of Dandy is aimed at men, it is the new versions of Boléro and Hortensia Éden on which diamonds are so beautifully represented that have made Rubel & Ménasché decide to stop and take a look.

Boléro is a modern jewelry watch that is designed for “today’s woman”.  Simple, “full”, it embodies simple elegance and plays with volumes. Its bracelet in flexible mesh (30 mm) and pink gold is matched with a very creative dial, which is entirely set with diamonds.

Hortensia Éden, a small 21.5 mm timepiece, combines a highly precious bracelet and hydrangea corolla, on a bezel adorned with diamonds. Hortensia Éden was designed to evoke “the profusion and sensuality of gardens created by the Empress Josephine, who had a passion for botany”. Three bracelets are on offer, in pink or white gold mesh, with a highly elaborate appearance and textures. The magnificent dials are bedecked with diamonds, or even decorated with malachite or opal, featuring the luxury of a garden…

Finally, for those who wish to wed with Chaumet jewels, the Maison has recently inaugurated the Salon Malmaison in its newly renovated private town house at 12 place Vendôme. The area is reserved for future spouses and sets out to be “an ideal setting for an inspiring experience before the big day” where brides can try “a set of jewelry to match their dress, pose with friends under a bas-relief tiara or dream as a couple of a unique engagement ring.” An offer for our times and privileged moments “to share and immortalize endlessly” on social networks of course!
